Siloam Springs State Park

Welcome to Siloam Springs State Park!  My photos were taken on July 16, 2006.  The state park is located near Clayton.  The address is 938 E. 3003 Lane, Clayton, IL 62324.  The phone number is 1-217-894-6205.

The park occupies 3,323 acres.  It is said to be one of the most beautiful parks in Illinois because of its beautifully wooded terrain and sparkling lake. The park is surrounded by forested gullies and scenic crests.

Inside the park, you may hunt, fish, camp, boat, picnic, hike, or bird watch. A concession stand is available at the lake offering boat and canoe rentals, bait, tackle, snacks, sandwiches, and soda.

Siloam Springs was named after a Biblical reference because legend has it that spring water in the area had a medicinal effect.
